teens and sex

Where do you stand on this? What approach do you take. I thought I was doing well being open and keeping my girl mainly in my site! Then she came to me after her first time, and it was unprotected. I couldn't believe it, but it happens. Teens will be teens and will be curious and will get into things.

I immediately talked with her dad then we talked to her together about it. I recruited her older sister as well, that was active at a very early age. Then we decided on birth control so just incase she atleast would not get pregnant. We have pressed the issue of that one act does not define her or who she is. Just because she did that and just because she is on the pill doesn't mean that is what she has to do, and NO ONE should expect that of her as a part of them dating.

give me your views and opinions, could I do or have done anything else.
